Research
I’ve always been fascinated by the process of digging deep into topics, asking the right questions, and uncovering meaningful insights. My journey with research started back in high school, where I spent countless hours exploring platforms like Google Scholar, PubMed, and arXiv. Over time, I developed a knack for critical thinking and analyzing data to truly understand what it’s telling me. Research has become more than just a skill. It’s something I genuinely enjoy the most and find fulfilling.
Python
Python has been instrumental in my journey into machine learning. Its extensive libraries like NumPy, pandas, and scikit-learn have made data preprocessing and model building seamless. With TensorFlow and PyTorch, I’ve explored deep learning, and learning about models for tasks like image recognition and natural language processing. Python’s ecosystem has empowered me to turn complex machine learning concepts into practical solutions.
leadership skills
Whether it was serving as the President of my high school ICT Club or as Head Boy during my primary and junior school years, these experiences have significantly shaped my leadership abilities. I’ve gained valuable experience in leading teams, managing projects, and fostering collaboration. These roles have taught me how to motivate and inspire others to achieve shared goals.
teamwork
Being a leader has helped horned my team management skills. I can collaborate with others and able to contribute to a team while also working independently. I and my teacher co-ordinator plus some club members co-founded a coders Hub in my high school. This has taught me to be an effective team player and managing projects we built.
Public Speaking
From an early age, I’ve been deeply passionate about public speaking, and this enthusiasm has only grown stronger over the years. During my junior school days, I was often chosen to represent my school in debates and public speaking competitions, which helped lay the foundation for my confidence and communication skills.
In high school, I’ve continued to refine this skill by delivering weekly talks at our ICT Club meetings every Tuesday. I’ve also had the privilege of presenting student-led projects to the entire school during assemblies and showcasing our work at tech companies during field trips. These experiences have not only boosted my confidence but also taught me the importance of connecting with diverse audiences and sharing ideas in a way that inspires and resonates with others.
Web Development
Web development has been a cornerstone of my journey in tech. Back in high school, I started exploring web development out of curiosity and quickly realized how much I enjoyed creating functional and visually appealing websites. I built several study tools for myself and my friends, which not only helped us stay organized but also made studying more efficient. These projects allowed me to hone my skills in HTML, CSS, and JavaScript, and I became proficient in building responsive and user-friendly websites. Over time, I have expanded my expertise to include frameworks like Bootstrap and tools like GitHub for version control. My ability to design and develop websites has been instrumental in showcasing my projects and ideas to the world, and it remains a skill I am deeply passionate about and continuously improving.
Mentoring
Mentoring has been a significant part of my journey, shaped by my early start in tech and leadership experiences. Serving as the President of the ICT Club during high school allowed me to mentor peers, organize workshops, and lead tech initiatives that inspired others to explore technology. My role as a lead AI and machine learning intern at OBENTaS Global further honed my mentoring skills, enabling me to guide teams and share knowledge effectively. Through initiatives like founding the Lowel AI project and launching StemBia, I’ve had the opportunity to mentor individuals and teams, fostering a culture of learning and innovation. Additionally, my YouTube channel serves as a platform to mentor a broader audience, sharing insights and encouraging others to pursue their tech aspirations.
